Re: ZR1 video
Holy Crap, I need a new ZR1 too.
How am I gonna get 800 HP with my 350? Ans: I'm not..... or maybe 300 hP worth of Nitrous for a one time use, then rebuild with what I have left of a motor. lol

Re: ZR1 video
Look, no problem. cheat like all of them. call Nelson Racing Engines and have them make you a 2000 hp twin turbo, they will fit it in your c4 zr1 and you will be untouchable. Our cars are older technology. Compare the new zr1 to the old ones. Or buy that Mercury Marine 1600 hp lt5 boat monster and cram that in your zr1... who ever has the most money.....wins!!

Re: ZR1 video
The blue ZO6 was the most impressive of the lot. He pulled the ZR1 every time. Despite the claimed numbers, he was top dog.
That "16 year old" better be careful, or Mom will take the supercar away. |

You mean 6.2L vs. 5.7L? You mean supercharger vs. N/A? Ah, bigger CID is what GM Power Train had to do to smother that pesky DOHC LT5! Supercharging is what GM Power Train had to do to smother those pesky (4.5L CID) VVT/direct injection, 9000 rpm 32V DOHCs Apples to apples example: 5.0L Coyote @ 440 hp = equates proportionally to 545 hp from a 6.2L...NOT 450 hp for new 6.2 LT1 AND...we're talking peak numbers, NOT power under the curve. When you do that, this happens: Team trophy: Fastest 3 passes 2011 & 2013 CPCC Corvette Shootout... Dave McLellan said the LT5 got GM Power Train off their hands (to come off of the L98). I'm wishing FORD and others great success with their modern DOHC platforms to do it again: Get GM Power Train to wake up and smell the coffee and get on board with a modern, developed DOHC V8 (and a mid-engine Corvette??). (I can DREAM, can't I?)
