there's much better and cheaper out there imo, but if you're happy with the results you get that's all that matter. there's no "perfect" wax out there.

it's red and I do use Meguiars nxt...as a base. I have several friends who detail for a living and have bent their ears for many years about what to use and I'm quite happy with the results that I get with what I use. two coats of nxt with 24 hr drying time between each coat, then two coats of s100, then a coat or two of mothers top coat. very happy with that. Either way, use what you like and like what you use

I agree with that statement, Kevin. It's hard to think of a car care item that is more hyped than shine products...sheesh! Nuttin' reminds me more of a steam calliope and a bunch of circus clowns than some of these infomercials where they shine up a car using the latest snake oil. I mean professional "detailers" have touted every kind of wax, polish, and even WD-40 for a "show shine".

Looks good after just applying it? [COLOR="Blue" Dat doan mean chit! (WD-40 will do that!!!)

And, any kind of Wax is for...well...WAXERS!

Wanna see a waxer/detailer freak out? Put a fingerprint in the middle of the hood of a dark color (black is the real test) car that is freshly polished and sitting in the summer sun for an hour or so. Then proceed to buff it out. I can hear the screams of horror now! For me, that is the real test: shine that lasts for seasons with minimal care; "no worries", as our Aussie friends say!

Prepped and 100% polymer coated and sealed 4 seasons ago, and still just wash, and spritz and GO! (My stuff likes to be rubbed in the sun!)



Truth is where you find it. So, if there is something better, lasts longer, easier to apply, and cheaper...I'm interested. When I had my black Vette, I went to the "circus" many times before finding something that "does it all" - shine and hard as glass and shrugs fingerprints and dust for years. So far I'm stuck on my stuff...for now.

This was not suppose to be a controversy on what Wax to use or not use, It was a post for members that use Zymol products to save 25%.

Use what ever you feel works.

Paul, Next time I go to Chicago I am going to bring my Container of Red Rogue. When you see the depth and ease of this "ZYME" you will be sold Or I will look like an Idiot that spends to much money on cleaning products.
