Default Brake pads

Ok, I've decided to hold off on the big brake set, but I have to get these pads changed out. I had a full brake job done on it back in June / July and the dumbasses used cheap generic pads...now the whole front caliper assembly vibrates whenever I'm driving and I get a distinct ::CLICK:: sound when I press on the pedal...

SO, what pads do you all recommend? I've heard good things about Hawk brand but I have no personal experience.

Any recomendations and part numbers are highly welcome!

Thanks all,

-Nate

Sounds like they left the tension springs out if you are getting a click.

my recomendation for a street/aggressive street pad is the Hawk HPS. Has a good bite to it.

Are those the same as anti-rattle clips? If so, they are still there. I pads suck *** though. Some kind of sh*t generic things. I just wanted to get it done quick...should have done it myself.

Yea, anti rattle clips. He may have also installed them incorrectly.

Check for slop in the cotter pin and replace if needed.

Where's the best place to pick up the Hawk HPS's? Do you have a part number?

Hit tire rack. Have good prices and instant availability. I think it's around 180 for front and rear shipped.

Actual price 95 front 59 rear plus about 10 for shipping.
