The Samco hoses have finally arrived. They were supposed to arrive april 12. Hahaha.

Im sure they'll look great but unfortunately the temp is pushing 100 degrees this time of year. Im gonna wait till late sept to do the work.

Let me save you 2 hrs on the short hose install. Remove the top half of the Thermostat housing and attach the hose first. Then attach the hose to the bottom of the radiator. Then bolt up the top half of the housing. Its impossible any other way as its too short. Did you get the Samco Stainess Hose clamps as well

Thanks for the advice. I'll order the hose clamps next week. Did you use any lube to help get the hoses on? Or did they slip on fairly easy?

Its 11:00am and its already 93 degrees 51% humidity in Houston. Its like living in the tropics but theres no jungle.

I used some dieelectric grease. Just a little, they slide on easier that way.
