I see a Corsa and I want it painted black...
No stainless anymore, I want them to turn black:
I finally pulled them off and painted them. I never thought the stainless looked right on the car, it was too shiny. For about the last year I've been running them with temporary "paint" that was a sort of dark gunmetal with some flake to it. I liked that a lot, but it wasn't permanent and was getting pretty rough/messy. I wasn't sure if flat black was really going to do it for me, but so far I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Hopefully it'll stay on well, I didn't want to scuff the metal up in case I ever wanted to strip the paint off.

YESSSS!!!!!
That's it! I think they look great. I always liked the fact that the 90's exhaust tips were unobtrusive and conversely the polished oval look of the aftermarket stuff was too loud for my taste. They look great on the 5's & 6's, but not so much on a C4 IMHO. Heck it has taken me 3yrs to get used to looking at the single oval s/s tip on my cobalt!

I think it looks good. I did something similiar on the Flowmaster exhaust I just installed. I painted the muffler and tips black. Looks nice!
