Default Paging the Wash, D.C. area crew

Hey guys,

I can't believe all the contact from the guys in the area and I really appreciate it. I had a long conversation yesterday with David and I told him I would post the info just in case.

Arrive in Wash Natl Jan 24th: Sunday 9:52AM (free that day)

I have a rental car for the week and will be staying at Hilton Springfield, VA

My work week will be going from Hilton to Fort Belvoir and Pentagon and not sure what time back to hotel in the evening with traffic and metro etc.

Saturday the 30th David was so kind to offer to be my tour guide and take me to the "if you only have 1 day to see D.C. tour"?. I owe him a Hawaiian girl in her 20s to teach him surfing in a string bikini when he visits Hawaii.

Sunday the 31st I leave D.C. at 10:00 AM back to Hawaii

So it appears the best day if any to meet the crew is Sunday the 24th or any day during the week for dinner or something. The daytime on Sunday is preferred to see all the awesome Zs.

Anyway, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the thought even if it does not work out as I know everyone is busy after the holidays and the New Year. David has my cell phone number.

I'm looking forward to visiting the area and meeting all or some of you.

Aloha!

Hey, Wazoo clan,
I am available any day.
Post your preferences.

Also, if you need lunch buddy, we can meet at Rosslyn or the Pentagon Mall during the week also.
i am about 15 minutes away (Georgetown- actually best restaurants are in Georgetown).

Hey Craig,

On behalf of the Washington Area ZR-1 Owners Organization (WAZOO) I would like to welcome you to the area.

Glad to hear that you will be visiting the DC. David is the man for setting up a schedule of events.

We will try to get a bunch of ZR-1's together on Sunday the 24th. How about drag racing on Constitution Avenue?

Bring us some sunshine, please.

Put a bunch of parts in your luggage and we will put that LT5 back together for you.

Jim

Craig, my schedule is open this month, the 24th works for me. I also pass through Springfield and FT Belvoir on my way home from work and could meet up for dinner/beers as well.

Is it okay that non-WAZOO members seek to attend this great event?

If it's alright I would like to try to attend to represent the NYC/Metro area "out in the cold Z owner's"....

I need some info I can plug into map quest so I can file a flight plan, thanks! Oh yea, some local knowledge on how the snow & salt situation on your roads is looking would be helpful also. I know, I'm a waxer...

Hey Rick, you want me to stop by & pick you up?

TIA

Tom

Hey Tom, You are always welcome down here my friend. I will keep you posted with locations and times.

snow & salt???? We don't have no stinking snow and salt....!?!?!?!

You can stop at the car wash after the trip down. I have found some great no-freeze detail spray we can use to clean the cars. It comes in a jug marked Zerex. I hear it works great.
