Blue dot lights.
I haven't seen them in a very very long time. I've always loved the way they looked. Id run them on my Z in a heartbeat if I could. Unfortunately they seem to be illegal in most states including Texas. And I've already got no front license plate going against me. Its amazing the lame s#$t they outlaw.

Re: Blue dot lights.
I've also learned after a little research that there are the cheap plastic ones. And there are the USA made glass gem cut ones that are more expensive but really stand out and give that purple glow. The plastic ones give it more of a pink glow. The USA made glass ones come in a gem cut prism or a smooth round style. Both have real stailess steel bezels. Those blue lights you see on Harleys and custom choppers are also blue dots.
Also found out why they are illegal in allot of states. Most laws state that non emergency vehicles cannot have blue lights. The states that allow them say as long as they are not strobing or flashing they are legal. And those states also don't require a front license plate either. |
