Default Odd Interior Question

Hi Guys.
Do my research before buying, and had a thought occur to me. As I’m a large framed 6’4 and wear size 13 shoes, the change made in 1994 to the drivers footwell always seemed like a good thing to me. Plus, the bigger seats, and I was comfy in a C4.

What I’m curious of is whether it’s possible to retrofit the footwell mods into an earlier ZR1. I’d love a 1990 for the original front end, but the extra space makes a 94 or 95 more appealing.

Thanks in advance,
Erik

Yup. Nice bump in room beside the clutch. Bonus for those of us with overly large feets.

Btw, is there an award for a super obscure question from a newbie? I gotta be in the running for that.

You have a picture of the foot well from both cars? Without carpet?

Oh according to a C4 dismantler..

No changes. Some earlier cars pre-90 will have differences in the heat shields around the inside towards the tunnel area but otherwise it’s all basically the same.
That said I know the speaker cover changed design
