You are not the only person to have that happen to, and it is on the list for me to take up with vBulletin.

Let me ask you something regarding that. Does it go away or remain constant? Also, does it impede your ability to email out having exceeded 50, or does it just appear as an arbitrary number?

It changes with unread messages that are sent in. But does not prohibit me from sending/receiving. I imagine when the limit of 50 hits, that will change.

And Jagdpanzer, I had over 300 at the other place.

30 minutes later it's back to normal.

It is an intermittent bug, but I suspect it will occur again. I will try and find out why it happens and if there is anything that can be done.
