I put on the cold air induction and a performance exhaust and between those two small mods it made a noticeable seat of the pants performance gain.

I must echo JamiesZR1 It sounds awesome at WOT and it looks good when you open the hood. Now who would open the hood to show off their LT 5??

I've always thought SLP made nice quality stuff. But it seemed like a lot of people said the stock airbox was more than adequate. That thing would probably look even better with the Samco duct.

So it seems to make a difference in pull? I have to say, the LT5 pulls so hard (I guess I'm not used to it yet) that it would be hard for me to notice an increase unless it was pretty major!

I seem to remember reading on the Net about one guy loosing H/P on the dyno with the SLP air induction setup. May have been one of the guys from England.

SLP calls whats pictured a cold air kit, but it wont supply any cooler air or more power then the stock setup. If you want true cold air, go with their forced induction kit, if its still available.

I have it. It was on the car when I bought it though so I can't compare it to stock. I do still have the stock air box but it's not worth my efforts to change it back.

It looks mean under the hood, that's for sure!!
