I just had a Lift King 9000 lb 4 post lift installed in the garage.
![]() Initial impressions are good. Columns are nice and heavy, with 10 different lock heights. The top position has a set of pins that can be installed as a secondary safety. It comes complete with castors that pin on for moving the lift, a heavy duty jack tray rated for the full capacity of the lift, 3 drip trays and a tarp that can be attached underneath the runways to further protect the lower car. The only modification I had to do was the front safety stops were too high and the Air Dam wouldn't clear. I redrilled 2 holes on each plate and lowered them by 2 inches. Another nice feature is when you take the approach ramps off, there is a set of Safety Stops that drop into the socket where the ramps attach. Luckily I have 10 ft ceilings in the Garage and can utilize the full height of the lift. it is 74 inches to the top of the runways in full up position. With 3 cars, 2 motorcycles and a herd of RC Aircraft Shop space was getting crowded. |
