The local paper says Mohegan Sun expects
60000 people to attend the Barrett Jackson auction next week!
Tickets have been sold out for quite a while now.
They're all coming to see the ZR-1!!!
😄

So how is the Canadian side of the border.
I bet you're having more fun than going to the Mohegan Sun.

Pretty much the same as the US side 'cept they
speak French and their money's more colorful...
So much for the "Cold Cruel North", it was 93 degrees
here today!

Well it's not as hot as Arizona has been.

I watched lot 337 - a red on gray '90 with 24K miles in average-appearing condition - sell for $24,750. (This is including the 10% commission...actual hammer price was $22,500) Shockingly high money for that car, but hopefully this is some good news for ZR-1 values.

The local newspaper said 90000 (not including me...) people attended BJ at Mohegan Sun!
Top seller: '69 L88 Vette @ $624800
1700 bidders
552 cars sold

"No Sale" on the 1955 Nomad with the LT5 - as it did not meet reserve.

Lot 317 was a 1985 Stock Corvette - Black/Black. 350 L98 engine with 230 HP. 14K miles. Sold for $12.7 K.
This is about 1/2 what Lot 337 (90 ZR-1) sold for.
And roughly aligns with base Vettes originally selling for 1/2 the cost of a ZR-1.

So, there seems to be a little consistency. But, both prices still seem strong.
