Default AutoFest, Lakeland, Florida, Feb 21-23, 2020

Calling ZR-1 NR Members in and near Florida
--------------------------------------------------
The ZR-1 and Grand Sport Registries would like to leverage the excellent relationship we have fostered with Carlisle Events (organizers of Corvettes of Carlisle) to make the 2020 Winter AutoFest our next big club event on the calendar. How is this event and Corvettes at Carlisle connected?

The 2020 Winter AutoFest will be the second year that Carlisle Events will be one of the main organizers of this growing event in Florida. With so many club members residing in or near Florida, Winter AutoFest will be an excellent opportunity for us to come together to celebrate our common passion and to participate in an exciting, multi-faceted show in Lakeland, Florida from February 21-23.

Winter AutoFest takes place at the ultra-spacious SUN ‘n FUN Campus in Lakeland. In addition to a dedicated Corvette Fun Field with Corvette vendors and Corvette themes seminars, this event also features an automotive flea market, a 400-plus collector car auction, the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) 42 Annual Winter Regional Meet, and Mopar and Mustang sections to make for a full force automotive weekend.

Registration for Winter AutoFest is now open at the following link https://www.carlisleevents.com/event...ofest+lakeland.

When you access the webpage, please:
1. Click on the red tab titled “Register for the Show”;
2. Click on either “Winter AutoFest Corvette Fun Field” or “Winter AutoFest Corvette VIP Package” to commence the registration process; and,
3. Regardless of which of the two packages you select in step 2, be sure to click on the “AutoFest Club” tab and register under “ZR1 Net Registry”. If we can get a minimum of 20 members to register, Carlisle Events will provide us with a free 20X20 tent and chairs as well as dedicated club parking, similar to the arrangement we have had for many years at Corvettes of Carlisle.

The “Winter AutoFest Corvette Fun Field” costs $25 and is free for kids under 12. That package covers parking, weekend admission for you and your passenger, two days of celebrity judging for your Corvette if you wish to do so, and two auction bidder’s passes.

The “Winter AutoFest Corvette VIP Package” costs $75. In addition to the features noted above for the fun field package, the VIP package also provides access to “Corvette Hour” presented by Carlisle Auctions, bidder’s breakfast on Saturday morning, two days of celebrity judging (Friday and Saturday), exclusive photo opportunities to showcase your Corvette, private meet and greet with special guests, and MORE!

I'll be there with my 90 Blk/Blk on the NCRS display field for McClellan Mark of Excellence award. Might push the envelope with having 1989 ZR-1 wheels on the car. :-)

Look forward to meeting other ZR-1 owners.
