Nominations and 2009 Election for the ZR-1 Net Registry Club Board
Message from the Registry President:
Hi folks, the term of office for current board members ends on Dec 31. I'd like to open up nominations for board members from the membership starting today until the end of October. Board members serve for a 2-year term. Nominations for the following offices President, Vice-President, Secretary, Activities/PR Director Race/NCM Director, Membership Director, Editor, and Graphics Director will be opened on today and end on the last day of October. At the close of nominations the election of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Activities/PR Director, Race/NCM Director, Membership Director, Editor and Graphics Director for the coming year will be held starting November 1st and end November 30th. A member may run for only one position. We'll put up an online voting similar to the past in November. folks there has been some confusion so let me please clarify
the officers of the ZR-1 NetRegistry and board are 2 year terms and any may run again!!! we run elections every 2 years per our bylaws FYI, you are free to nominate anyone including the existing board. any of those that email me that they are not interested in running again I will post here so far Membership Director Race Director those postions will REQUIRE a new nomination. you can also nominate yourself! ask and yea shall receive! as part of the nomination process I go back and talk to folks (haven't made the rounds completely, especially for those running for re-election, but several new folks stepped up interested in the membership director job, and dropped out for positions they were nominated for. for most of the positions, we have at least one person interested, and I'd like to close nominations at the end of Oct.
