It is clearly recognizable as a Corvette and yet it is a thoroughly modern design. There is no way, IMO, round lights have a place on this car. The rest of the car has complex and subtle contours. The tail lamps reflect that complexity. It looks like the kind of vehicle you would enjoy washing and waxing to feel the complexity of the lines. It appears shorter and more compact than the C6 although it is not. It's also lower. The interior looks great from my vantage point. Certainly Chevrolet has raised it's game on interiors because I was impressed by the new Impala as well. I would seriously consider trading in my 92 ZR-1 for the C7 although I would lament the loss of the 32V DOHC Lotus. =Jeff= and I both went to see the car in Chicago. We each had the same reaction. We'd buy it in a heartbeat.
