Default Taking an activist role in promoting KOTH

Thanks Jim for doing this. Here's how we let the world know about our cars. We don't wait for them to come to us. Its the old "Squeaky wheel...".

Great article, congrats on getting the word out! And the car is pretty sweet too.

First Class write-up about the best of the C4 ZR-1's, and my favorite example.

One minor inaccuracy though, it states:
"Twenty years later, Lingenfelter 415 ZR-1's are still relevant in terms of performance. They are quicker 0-150-0 than a new C6 ZR1, and that’s without a supercharger and with fewer cubic inches."

The 415's, as we all know, are much bigger than the 378 cu in. late model ZR1.

I think it's because some people assume that the C6 ZR-1, because it's the baddest, uses the ZO6 shortblock (427). It does not.

BTW, that photo graphic at the top is superb, and an inspiration to those of us who have white ZR-1's. The difference between that car, and my car?.......cubic $$$. )

Wow.......nice write up........it is pretty much verbatim of what I gave him. Thanks for the nudge guys; I feel very fortunate to own a piece of history.

Nice write up, one more "small error", we actually beat the McClaren it only ran 217 and change.

Oof.....how could I have missed that. I've tried to watch the video I have, and glean as much info as I can, but somehow I was under the impression the F1 was a tick faster. Good to know! I'll go back a read the article in the magazine I have. Thanks as always Graham for "being there" testimony.

Yep, they actually disallowed our speed because we had the exhaust cutouts open But there was a side bar in the Magazine where they actually stated the 218+ mph. Two weeks later the car went 218 again at TRC with a full exhaust Cats and all and was featured in the "extreeme machines" TV show on Discovery channel.

Graham,

Thanks so much for chiming in. Always a pleasure. Any chance we can talk you into the 1/2 mile drags in Chicago June 21-22?
