No start
I went to go start my Beast and this happened..... I take the battery out and bring it inside the house. So i put the battery back in, all connections tight. I turn the key and hear everything buzz and make the noises we know... i turn the key to start it and everything goes black. No dash lights, no interior lights.... Battery is fully charged. I disconnect the cables and reconnect. Go back in to start, i have dash lights, good voltage. Go to crank and goes black again like the battery is dead. WTF is going on???

Re: No start
Sounds like a bad battery or ground issue.

Re: No start
The LT5 needs min of 690 CCA. After 24 months a battery may not be able to provide that power.

Re: No start
Have the battery load tested at the parts store.
Save your time and start with that. Next inspect your cables. Focus on the terminal bolts and the mating surfaces. Those are the most logical targets. Once you know you have proper voltage, then we can continue the hunt if needed. Marty |

Re: No start
Took the battery back to Autozone... They testedand it was half dead. So they gave me a new battery, no questions asked. Mine was out of warranty by a year and a half and they insisted on replacing it.... New battery fired her right up!! That was such a cool thing for them to do. And thanks everyone for the replies
