Default Change Oil Light Reset Procedure

Hey Guys:

I looked all over for the oil change reset procedure and even looked in the maintenance section and I still can't find the procedure to reset the light.

Can someone post it for me please?? TY!

Key on, Engine off.
Press ENG MET within 5 second press it again.
Press and hold GAUGES button. CHANGE OIL light will flash.
Hold until CHANGE OIL light stops flashing. When it stops it is reset,

OK where is the gauges button?? Its a 1990.

Yep they changed things around a little starting in 92 button wise.

for 1990 :1. key on, engine off
2. press ENG MET and release. within 5 seconds press and release ENG MET again.
3. within 5 seconds of step 2 press and hold RANGE button. the CHANGE OIL light will flash.
4. hold RANGE button until CHANGE OIL light stops flashing and goes out.

Any clues on how to proceed if this doesn't work?

I've tried every timing possible on the two hits to ENG/MET and can't get a flashing "CHANGE OIL", just stays steady.

Did you hit the range button and hold which is the final button for the procedure on your 91?
