Default Firewall Hole - Pictures

Last weekend while installing a fuel pressure gauge I went looking for a place to pass a few wires through the firewall. I don't know if this is the *best* place, but it was pretty easy to get to.

The pictures show the hole I drilled behind the battery (on a surface parallel with the frame rails), with a coat hanger stuck through it.

A fat step drill bit went through the thin fiberglass pretty quickly. Make sure you don't go too big.

The coat hanger was handy for pulling the wires from the engine side through the sound padding in the footwell.

Hope this helps someone. I know I've benefited from other's pics here.
