Default Can the A/C compressor be removed w/o pulling the plenum?

I'm too lazy to unwrap my spare motor to check out and my car is in offsite storage. I'm making plans for working on my late fathers 91' next time i'm back in illinois, including putting in a new compressor.

Can it come out w/o pulling the plenum ( assuming the TB, airhorn , etc.. are removed first.).

I figured someone here has tried or better yet succeeded.

i just pulled my compressor a couple weeks ago to convert to 134 refrigerant and did not have to pull the plenum. once you get the air horn, throttle body and alternator off, it was simple.

perfect! thanks for confirming. I had a feeling that It could be R&R'd w/o plenum removal.
