Corsa X-pipe
I see posts about X pipes all the time but never one for a Corsa system. Does one exist, or system is best with the resonator? I dont mind louder.

Re: Corsa X-pipe
Corsa does not make an X-pipe. The Corsa resonator is an open design that has no restriction, so replacing it with an X-pipe wouldn't net you any HP.

Re: Corsa X-pipe
Not being familiar with the Corsa resonator, do you mean to say that BOTH left/right exhaust pipes co-mingle the exhausts within the resonator?? (I was under the impression they remain separate, even w/in the resonator.)

Re: Corsa X-pipe
I think the Corsa has an H-pipe at the front of the resonator ... no longer have a Corsa system so I can't go look ... maybe someone with Corsa can confirm.

Re: Corsa X-pipe
Prior to building the semi-custom exhaust from the stock system on my 95, I was going to have Dr. Gas build a 2.5 X pipe.
http://www.drgas.com/Tandem-X-Pipe-J...Only_p_52.html Although I opted to go with a Magnaflow Tru-X muffler instead. I would consider calling Scott at Dr. Gas and consult with them or Corsa directly on why they decided to go with H instead of X. Not sure if the secret and patent behind Corsa RSC technology is in the resonators or mufflers. Removing the resonators will probably introduce drone/resonance; maybe there is power to be gained?
