Default Can’t reset ride control codes

Driving around Bowling Green with the NCM anniversary, my Service Ride Control light came on. I was just cruising on the freeway and said “darn.” The next day, also just cruising steady on the freeway, the light went off. I love it when things fix themselves J

When I got home, I jumpered pins A and C on the ALDL to see what ride control codes were stored. I got every code! What? Mind you, the light isn’t on, so I guess this must be “history” or something.

I disconnected the battery and still had the same result – all codes.

I followed the reset procedure in the FSM (ground pin C for two seconds and repeat the process a total of three times), and still had the same result – all codes.

This is the same issue rogerzr1 had here

there’s no resolution listed in the thread L

Any ideas?

Gary

When the SRC light comes on again then pull the codes. It should not be ALL the codes. Did you change the shocks recently?

As it happens, I'm fussing with an intermittent SRC as well. Thought I had if fixed, but it returned the following day. Not having your particular issue with attempting to clear codes, but let's keep in touch. If I discover anything along the way, I'll be sure to let ya know what I find!

No light on right now, and I haven't changed anything.
