I like Mobil and Citgo stations the best locally, but do get some premium from Texaco & Chevron.

You do know that BP is a British company, not an American one?

I'm not sure how British they are anymore. Around here, in central Ohio, a lot of the BP stations were purchased by other local companies.

I believe BP in the US sells Amoco gas: http://subsites.bp.com/ultimate/us/a...erformance.htm

I usually get Amoco Ultimate around here for the 'vette. I'm not sure where a Chevron/Texaco station is. Unfortunately 94 octane gas is not available anywhere near me that I've found.

Here is an interesting GM release on gasoline.

You may not, but if given equal choices I try to support American companies over foreign ones. Some things we must buy foreign like TV's, and other electronics. However, even when it comes to buying cars, I try to buy American, even though I do own several imports.
Most gas is all the same from the same refinery with only slight differences with additives and the like. So given a choice between foreign companies like BP/Amoco or American companies like Texaco, Chevron, Mobil, etc., I will choose the American one.

That kind of thing doesn't bother me. If one sation has 94 octane and the other only has 93, I'm going to buy the 94
