Default Injectors

I have a 1991 ZR1, 19,000 miles. I recently replaced my injectors. I intended to buy RCI injectors, made the call and the salesman suggested I buy another brand; stainless steel, and looked same as originals. Maybe that was my mistake. I changed out the injectors, with the help of Haibecks video. Everything went as planned. When I first started the car, it misfired for a short time, but when I drove it out of the yard, it started running ok. Now, when I first start it up, after not driving it for a while, i get smoke and rough idling. When I take it out and run it, it seems to run ok. Sometimes it runs rough at idle speed, but ok when i speed up. the insides of exhaust are very black, and i get small amount of black liquids dripping out. Any suggestions?
Thanks, IKen

The drips have got to be condensed water vapor.
Normal.
Do check fuel pressure as has been suggested.

Please don't think me a wise guy, but on a 90 there is that difficult to connect vacuum hose that attaches at the lower right side of the T/B, I'm not too sure where it is on a 91....you got that one on right? Also I'd do a mental replay of connecting all the other vacuum hoses, the MAP hose too.

Your symptoms sound like a vacuum leak to me, JMHO
