Re: What Ike did in my hood.
It blew over all of my trees...luckily they are small enough I can just stand them back up. I hope they live. My Dad's place in Montgomery didn't fare as well. He lost 11 old growth Oak tress. One in particular was a tall Red Oak over 100 yrs. The white oaks seemed to hold up better but the red oak roots dont go very deep, so they toppled. We think it was a down burst or a tornado of some type that did most of the damage up and down Kuykendahl and up into Montgomery along 2978, and Honea Egypt Road. It seems like all of the damage along that North South Line pointed all the trees to fall in the same 2 directions. The either fell South or East. Beats me. It was a mess up here. I pray for those who experienced much much worse down south who lost everything. I cant imagine what they are going through,

Whats up Ryan. I read that in Crystal beach when the surge came through it forced all the fish through this chain link fence and they all got stuck in there and died like that. That would be freaky to see.

Re: What Ike did in my hood.
I hear the reason thier still not letting people back on Boliver and Crystal beach is because there are more dead bodies than they are telling us about and they don't want people to see it. They won't even let the news media in there.
