Default 1998 Chevy Engine problem

Hi,

I have an issue with my ZR1. It starts great and with no issues but after I accelerate and start speeding up after about ten minutes of constant +/- 70 MPH the engine starts choking what forces me to slow down and eventually stop. It has a problem to start up again for a few minutes.
Keeping speed below that threshold causes no issues but breaking that magic barrier opens the gates of hell.

Any ideas what that may be?

Are you able to accelerate to all RPM?s without issues? After 10 minutes, your coolant temps should be up to normal including oil. What is the ambient temp while driving?
