Default Seat bolster removal

1496762102055.jpg. As you can see I suffer the same fate as many with the side bolster wearing out......my question is, these can be removed without taking the whole seat apart yes? I'd like to take that piece instead of the whole seat to my upolstry guy....

I think it would be hard to remove without dismantling the seat back, let alone putting it back together.
This is your access with seat back removed,

Don't mean to hijack your thread but does anyone have an idea for side leg bolsters on a 90 to lower them? A bit uncomfortable for bigger guys like me. This would be in lieu of buying 94-95 seats.

Time to upgrade to 94-96 seats. However pulling the seat is fairly easy to take to the repair guy. Power the seat forward to remove the rear bolts. Then power it rearward to remove the front bolts. Then center it.. unplug the harness and pull it out towards you. Its also a lot easier with the roof off. GC

I've heard of a lot of guys go to the 94-95 sport seats in early model Beasts.... I can see why. I love my sport seats, but that bolster make getting in and out kinda challenging. But once in them their great.

I didn't think it would be that easy....that's not bad at all! I may just do that then.

Mickey D I would just upgrade to 94-96 sport seats however when I had a base stock L-98 DRM 90 I had some nice seat covers on the seat that tended to keep those bolsters down
