Michigan license plate rant......
In Michigan your license plate expires on your birthday. Mine is in May. So I had some free time to go into the Secretary of States office on April 29th. Two days early. I didn't have the car plated last year. Plates in Michigan are some of the most expensive in the country. Mine are $141. But that's another story. So............the lady says "That will be $282 please". They want to charge me $141 for 2 days for last year and $141 for this coming year! They don't pro-rate the fee. I said seeya in two days and walked out.
