Default All The Little Things

Over the last few months I've completed a number of small modifications and maintenance on my ZR-1. Somethings planned. Others unexpected. For example, when detailing the suspension last month I found the retainer spring on the LR inner pad broken. Down the rabbit hole I went and am in the process of a full brake system overhaul. With all the recent work, I decided to tally up the maintenance/repairs/upgrades I've completed on the car. During my 28 months and 2k miles of ownership, this 8k mile car has seen a lot of attention!

Very nice!

Sounds like you found a low mileage car that you've converted to a driver - along with various issues that may have originated (or at least were not helped) from the fact that the car was low mileage.

I am on a similar track with my recently acquired ~13K mile car. It has mostly sat the last few years and there are a few things that need TLC for it to be a nice reliable driver.

Where in Texas are you? I am in the SW suburbs of Houston.

Did this involve any wiring modifications or plug and play?
Did it make a decent difference?
Do you have a part number by chance?
Thanks!!

Hella Z Beams with 100/55 watt halogen bulbs
Real glass lens that focus the lite. Stock headlites are 60/55 watt
They make a 130/100 bulb, but that would probably
melt down the headlite wiring.
With these, the Hi beams will burn the paint of the car in front of you,
(ask Big John how he likes me behind him at nite) and the
low beams don?t dazzle oncoming cars.
Plug and play no screwing around like with LEDs...

Re: PM
Yes, that looks like them.
The $ has gone up since I bought my 1st
set in 1989 or so ...
You can see in the lens why they?re call Z Beams
They come with 60/55w bulbs.100/55w is better,
probably obtainable from the same headlite vendor?

They make a 130/100 bulb that would put a spot on the moon
if aimed there! But, that is only for a second or two before your car?s
electrical system melted down....

A few relays, and a direct feed off the battery might make those 130/100?s work nicely.

True, but what about that spot on the moon?

Help power the solar panels on the planned moon base.

Yup!
It is the only way he can stay ahead of my cars.
