what would be the best way to store the zr
Guys I may need to store the zr for 6- months to a year... What do you suggest is the best way.... I'm not sure who at this point I could trust to start it up once in a while or drive it..
I do know how to keep the rats/ Mr. Gingles away. But I'm worried about teh motor etc sitting etc.... thanks Brah's.. |

A few things to consider:
Jackstands under the suspension, this will keep the tires from flat-spotting, and prevent the shocks from sitting at full extension if you were to let the suspension just hang. Remove the spark plugs, spray fogging oil into each cylinder, reinstall plugs. Battery tender. Sta-Bil in the fuel tank, then fill 'er up. Some folks like to change the oil prior to storage, to remove corrosive acids that may be present due to combustion byproducts. Be sure you have fresh coolant, to maximize corrosion resistance. dryer sheets in the cabin of the car have been anecdotally reported to prevent rodents.

I agree with everything Andrew said and would encourage you to change the oil prior to storage as well. The acidic by-products in the oil is not BS. Andrew and others are on the money with that.
