Chip
I see the light 1st to 4th but I still can go to second or third ,could it be the previous owner put in a different chip and if he did How can someone tell if s or not?

Joseph,Mine is unpluged and I don't get a code but the 1 to 4 light still comes on,next time you change the oil take a look..(Edited by WEGONE at 6:27 am on Nov. 1, 2002)

Left side of transmission you should see a solenoid with two wires and a plug.. thats it, you can get a cap from Mid America to keep dirt out after they have been disconnected..
