Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season now available
I saw this on the Corvette forum and checked with Costco today......it is true! They have our standard sizes, 275/40/17 for $205.99 and the rears 315/35/17 at $312.00. With mounting, balancing, road hazard warranty, old tire disposal and tax the complete set is $1047.68 when you get the $150 off which is every other month. The PS2's which are a summer tire is $1486 and has a 20,000 mile warranty. The PS4's are all season and have a 45,000 mile warranty.

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season now available
did you find this in store? I don?t see them online. Guess I?ll go in tomorrow at lunch and see if they can get them in TX. My old pilot sports have about 1500 miles on them, but are 10+ years old, so time for some new shoes.

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season now available
I had the store check, this was also news to them so it must be a very recent addition by Michelin. Good for those of us who still have 17" rims. Costco can special order them and will have them in 2-3 days at least here in Maryland.

Go buy them now and keep your receipt. They will honor all discounts for 30 days so you can buy now and get the rebate as long as it is within 30 days.

Id like to try these!
As a side note, the TOYO TIRE EXTENSA HP II carries our sizes, and I can verify that they worked GREAT on my base model Vettes in ALL conditions, including a freeway with an inch of slush on it at 70 MPH. They are very budget friendly as well. |

Do the Michelin have a proper speed index?

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season now available
For anyone who is able to pick up the Michelin PS AS4 for their Corvette, if they could give their opinion/review especially comparing them to other options like the GY GSD3, PS2, Nittos, etc. it?d be helpful.
The PS AS4 seems to the the OEM tires for the C8 so it?d be good to know how they do on the C4. This link is a review of the tires on the C8: https://youtu.be/lm6342C4CRo Here is the Michelin link video: https://youtu.be/G7piMRtOzTk The PS AS4 isn?t brand new. It?s been out on the C8 for a while. But the 315 size is new for the C4 ZR-1 which makes it a new option for ZR-1 owners. If anyone can provide a review if they use them on a C4 it?d be great information for users here. Given that Michelin is now the partner for the Corvette brand (supplanting Goodyear from the C4 era) I do wonder if that present day Corvette affiliation is the reason Michelin is now supplying the 315 tire size. Thoughts/opinions? |
