Wanted: 1991 ZR-1 motorized antenna.
Hi,
Does anyone know of a source or have an OEM motorized antenna for a 1991 ZR1? None of the big catalogs carry one specific to ZR-1s. Mine has a broken nylon drive cable that winds up on the internal drive motor spool. If I listen to anything it's CDs, but I want to keep things original. Thanks for any leads! Regards, John |

Bit pricey (use to be around $150) but below is an OEM antenna.

Thanks Secondchance!
I scoured ebay too. Must not have used the right magic words. $350 for a new one is pretty stiff for something I don't really "need". Option 2 is perfect! I had mine apart and the nylon cable is broken, the motor works fine. $30 and FREE shipping. Tough to beat that. I really appreciate your help. Thank you. John |

I have the whole assembly from a 94, it is broken. Its the same problem you have,
But if you run across the rubber grommet for a ZR-1 the antenna goes through in the fender; would you let me know. Thanks, Ryan

Difference is early cars have external relay for the antenna and later cars have relays internally. I still owe you antenna repair. You didn't show during the last WMD. |
