Sure has. But.... you could always go to the Michelin sponsored BASH which was before the Gathering but has since been rescheduled for 2 weeks after the Gathering. Plus.... registration is actually open for that event!

Yes, it was canceled by the National Corvette Museum. An email went out to all Registry Members with a full explanation. Here’s a copy of the text if you haven’t seen it.
H

“Amidst the current COVID-19 outbreak and current CDC advisories, the National Corvette Museum has cancelled the C4 Gathering in May. The ZR-1 Net Registry and Grand Sport Registry support this and believe it is in everyone’s best interest.

While alternative dates were reviewed, we’ve decided best to postpone the event until May 2021, and will pursue a very similar agenda celebrating both the 30th Anniversary of the ZR-1 and the 25th Anniversary of the C4 Grand Sport, which complement one another.

For those who have made arrangements at the Holiday Inn, University Plaza hotel using the ZR-1 / GSR block code, cancelling your reservation is quick and easy. If you saved the email confirmation of your reservation, simply open it, find the “Cancel Reservation” link, and it will take you to the IHG website where you can check the “Cancel Reservation” box, and hit the “Submit” button. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation via email. Cancellations can also be conducted over the phone by contacting the hotel at 1-270-745-0088.

We want everyone to stay safe as we navigate through, and get past, the COVID-19. We plan to make up for this year’s event in 2021 when everyone can enjoy it. Until then, we wish you and your family remain safe and healthy, and hope to see you at the 2021 Gathering.”

It does suck that's for sure. But if the Museum is still open May 15-16th, I just may keep my reservation and go. I have never been through the museum, and that sounds like a nice getaway from all this recent insanity......That is granted in 2 months if this hasn't gotten any worse. Stay safe everyone, use common sense, AND WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!!!

Current info suggests that this will be around into July or August. It’s not worth risking exposure. There will be a reunion in the future, just late.

Cancelled?

Over?

Did someone say Over?

Bluto : What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Otter : [to Boon] Germans?

Boon : Forget it, he's rolling.

Bluto : And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...

[thinks hard of something to say]

Bluto : The tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

[Bluto runs out, alone; then returns]

(couldn't resist, one of my favorite scenes from Animal House)

There will be next year!
For all of us, I pray.

Marty

Good one, Marty. We will get through this. Each one doing his/her part, with a warm heart towards others, and a steady focus looking UP.

OK, now some more humor...
