Im not sure how to react to that..Didnt GM catch hell back in the day because the guys that coughed up the dough for ZR1 complain because their car was too easily mistaken for a base C4?

IMO they need to do something with that bland body and get another cammer motor in it. THen badge that sucker.

Using the "ZR1" name will probably only be a good thing for us. It will increase awareness of our ZR-1's. And it is great that they are using it on a very exclusive car.

Will we let them into the registry??

I sent an email out to the registry board tonight asking that very same question. I would say yes.

Oh hell yes why not? Even the C6/C7 can share a little history with the C4!!!

Boys this will only make our cars appreciate like fine wine!!!!

Unless they can shove an LT5 under the hood this is just another C5/6/7. We have special cars and do just fine without making our lines impure.

Thumbs down Re: possible big news

i'm not for it at all , G.M. tried to quietly sweep the ZR-1 under the rug back in the day but now that it works to their advantage they are all for it . can't have it both ways. or maybe they can? you think it's hard to get part's now, wait until you order an exhaust & it shows up but it's for the NEW car. that kind of thing will happen without a doubt.
