Tips for detailing under the hood
There is a C6 Corvette event next weekend and I would like to take my C4 and have a little fun. I am pretty good at washing/waxing the exterior but I would love to really polish under the hood and show off the LT5. I know powerwashing is a but what do you all recommend?

Re: Tips for detailing under the hood
I just did mine via the disassembly method. Mine had so much old oil on the front of the engine from the oil change places not cleaning after removing the oil filter (previous owners). I removed the plenum down to the starter and just cleaned everything piece by piece (and the radiator, and the area under the headlights, and the battery and air conditioner area).
The best thing to do is keep up on the cleanings, get into the hard to reach areas using mechanical fingers, a cloth rag, and isopropyl alcohol. |
