The new asphalt looks to be in excellent condition and nicely done. Because of this, we are moving the start line back just enough to make the first turnoff 3/4 mile from the finish, to encourage almost everyone to take it instead of going to the end, in order to get more runs in.
We are definitely planning a 1.5 mile event next year in the early summer in addition to our two regular meets, so watch the website for a date announcement!
We should get more runs in 2 weeks Oct 8/9 on new asphalt and next year 1.5 mile Now I can see what happens in 6th gear, it may slow down, but now I can find out
