Default Another power antenna question..

Posted a while back my antenna won't go down...I have not really gotten a chance to look at the connections around it..

Allthough the weather in NY has been lousy this winter I still managed to drive the car at least once every ten days ..Did a round trip to Atlantic city two weeks ago...

It was real nice yesterday so I had the windows opened when I turned off the radio......I could hear the motor making the noise it should when the antenna goes down...Still antenna is in the up position...

Motor? If it is,what year C4 antenna motors would work with it?
My car is a 91....

The same thing happened to my 90. What has happened is the plastic ribbon cable has broken inside the motor. It can be replaced fairly inexpensively by removing the antenna from the car, opening up the side cover and replacing with a new mast and ribbon cable. It's not a hard job, just have to take you time.

I had the same problem with my antenna, changed antenna mast works fine since 2006.

I've had the antenna apart to replace the mast in mine, fed the mast down into housing with it in the car,by myself, not easy until you get it figured out and have got the wiring figured out for a 93 or later in a 91 of anybody needs some tips.
