Car hauler anybody?
If I can't arrange for someone to care for my pooches, I'll have to bring 'em along to BG. That means hauling the Z on a carrier and putting the pooches in their crate in the back of the PU. But! I don't own a car trailer. Anyone have any suggestions as to where a guy might borrow/rent such a thing? (No, I don't want to drag the rear end of the Z either.)
And, having a car trailer could come in handy should someone break something while racing. And too, if someone else would like to ride along, or has some extra cargo they can't fit in their Zs, my big ol Fowahd twuck hauls a lot of "stuff". As it stands, Ami and I are planning on driving down early Thursday - be there around mid day (give or take). Who else either from the Chi area or from parts that would bring ya thru here on your way to BG is passing thru around that time on Thursday?? It would be nice to get a caravan together, if possible. I'm sure groups could get together along the way, but as a final gathering/kick off point, I believe there is a truck stop at US-24 and I-65 where IL and IN Zs could form up for the push to BG...No? My car has been down since mid August. I can tell you this living vicariously bit is getting pretty damn old. So, I'm looking forward to literally "getting it together" for the bash at BG. Sounds like it is going to be a big-un. Can't wait to put faces to so many Brothers of the Beast seen only on the Registry until then! Dayam! Is it spring yet??? P.
