Bose help needed
I just bought a 91 ZR-1 and the Bose radio has no sound but the tuner works. When I got the car the battery was dead. Could the radio be coded? I don't have any manuals for the car and I can't remember if they say "Code" on the display or not.
What is an easy way to trouble shoot the system? Thanks, Jon |

This is what you are looking for. You will need the white connector on a pigtail also. You should be able to get these amps for $5-$7 at pull your parts wrecking yards.

They had a GXE and a SE model. If it is with the base radio that will help me when I call the salvage yards to see if I can find some. Thanks again. |

I just looked at a 98 Maxima and it had Panasonic rear speakers with the factory radio so I am confused. I will keep looking. |

The 95' Nissan Maxima Speaker with Amps look like this..... The 95' Nissan Maxima Amps are direct replacements for Bose Amps in the ZR-1. The only issue is the little white connector on the Nissan Amps is much more usable than the original soldered connection (1990 ZR-1s) on Bose Amps. Pigtails for Nissan Amps are available. 95' Nissan Maxima Front Speakers..................................95' Nissan Maxima Rear Speakers See Bose Speaker Amp Options TIPS
