Re: LT5 vs LT4 YouTube Video
You probably know this, but I believe your 91 is a former One Lap of America car....

Re: LT5 vs LT4 YouTube Video
Kool video!
I'm a little leery of their 0-60 results for both cars. Did my grandma do the test driving? Off by at least 1 and a half seconds in both cases? Even without "beating" on the cars they should be better? |

Re: LT5 vs LT4 YouTube Video
That's probably the only major pitfall in that whole great video. They tested 0-60 without actually wanting to know what the cars can do. Finding out maximum acceleration capacity requires to max out the material you're testing.
A car guy immediately recognizes that this test was run with precaution to avoid damage. However I can imagine that there are a lot you folks out there who just memorize: "lame Corvette does 0.60 in more than 7 seconds. My old Hyundai can do better!". HOWEVER - thanks to that video there will be a lot of old Hyundai dudes getting their butts slapped by lame corvettes, hahaha It's a great video, I love it!

Re: LT5 vs LT4 YouTube Video
The stock ZR-1 0-60 time according to GM, as I recall, was 4.8 sec.--Bob
