Re: Any ZR-1 members in Dallas?
There is freezing rain here.....tomorrow I will be giving an instructional course on how to drive in ice and snow.
My in-laws run a place called Texan BBQ back in Chicago...25yrs in business. I always thought people from TX probably came in and thought "what a load of sh#$, this is not lilke TX BBQ", well I hit a BBQ place here in TX and I will have to say they are dead on, if not better. They have a true wood fired smoke house.....same flavor, sauce, even the set up is the same.

The best TX BBQ is in Luling and Lockhart - a little far from you. Don't know much about
Dallas places.

Re: Any ZR-1 members in Dallas?
I was in Dallas back in December and saw a red ZR-1 with a high-rise hood going Eastbound on the 635 loop in Irving. It was one of the rare times I've seen a ZR-1 in the wild.
For BBQ in Dallas, Spring Creek BBQ is always a good choice and Randy White's Hall of Fame BBQ up in Frisco is also very good. You might actually get to see the Manster himself as he is supposedly there often. Texas Goode Company in Houston is my favorite BBQ. |

There are several ZR-1 Registry in the D/FW area. I know of several. There is a red ZR-1 that I see every now and then around DFW airport and I know a couple in the Bedford area.

I am in the Mansfield area which is about 20 miles south of DFW airport down 360 for a point of reference.

I live in Grapevine right next to DFW. Technically though, I don't live in Dallas, closer to Ft. Worth. Have Z, will travel.

Re: Any ZR-1 members in Dallas?
I fly a CRJ-700 jet for A.E. I am ATP ASMEL & S Glider, Aircraft Dispatcher, Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor, CFI AMELG Gold Seal. Have a 1992 black ZR-1. My wife wants to get a C-3 either 1974 or 1978. I have been there for 21 years and my wife is a flight attendant for us. Been flying for about 33 years.
