Turned 40 yrs old this year.
No mid-life crisis going on here ....but I finally reached a point in my life that I can afford these cars that I've loved and have coincided with an undervalued market for some. Classic car insurance, emissions exemption, a clean license ...it's like the stars have finally aligned.
A Viper, Cobra, 3rd Gen Camaro 1LE, might be next on the list.

Amen brother!! I'll be 42 in December. And when I got my Beast last year EVERYONE said must be a midlife crisis.....But no, I had craved a ZR-1 since my junior year of high school ( 1991) Now I can afford such things, life is WAY to short to sit around and dream about such cars. I had a love affair with the 1st GEN Vipers as well, and would love to buy a good used GTS coupe. But now I have my ZR-1, I want another one to park besides it

Chevrolet Corvette: The Corvette is arguably the car that put American automotive prowess on the map, and with roles in films like “Corvette Summer” and “Animal House,” it was frequently featured during many mid-lifers’ formative years. And what better way to recapture youth than with two seats and a big V-8? Check out a 1990 ZR-1, the year that Chevy introduced its most potent production C4. Its Lotus-designed 32-valve V-8 LT5 was built by Mercury Marine and spurs it to a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds. It’s tough to get more performance bang for your buck: The Hagerty Price Guide puts a ZR-1 in No. 3, or good, condition at $23,200.

I got mine just before turning 21. So, I hope that's not mid way through.

47 years old and I've owned all but the Viper...and I was shopping seriously for a Viper a couple years ago, still want one. Substitute a Ferrari 308 and you might as well put my picture on that article! Did I mention my hair has been gray since high school?

Turned 70 this year. I am hoping the Z06 is my last midlife crisis car but you never can tell. Maybe another ZR-1?---Bob.

Midlife crisis or not, I got the top car on my realistic car bucket list.

Next on my list:

Pantera
Porsche 928 (GTS or S4)
Lotus Esprit Turbo

That'll be pretty cool if you live to be 140 years old. :-)
