Seat part question for 1990
I was replacing the seat switch bezel and when I remove the seat cushion I found a plastic connector for the lumbar system broken. Not sure if I broke it or not but irrelevant at this point. Does anyone know what this is called so I can see about ordering a replacement? It is the white plastic part with three air lines running into. I attached the two photos so you can see both ends of the part. As always thanks for the help this group always provides.

Re: Seat part question for 1990
I got some of those connectors from Davies a couple of years ago. Connector, female seat lumbar hose, 84-93. Part # 421041.
The original connectors seem to be prone to deterioration over time. Just sort of crumble away as you handle them. Good luck,

Yes, as stated above, these tend to harden and then fall apart over time.
Here's a link to what Eckler's has: https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corv...1984-1993.html

Re: Seat part question for 1990
Thanks guys. I will replace both of them since the other is probably very brittle.

While you are at it, where the wires go over the seat reclining motor can, cover them with some split loom plastic to prevent shorts! Both seats.

Re: Seat part question for 1990
I had these on order from Ecklers for months and when asked they let me know they had no idea when they might receive stock. Looks like they are no longer being manufactured. I am assuming I can just use some bullet connectors of some soft to connect the hoses.

Gentlemen no need to overthink it. Just use short lengths of hose to reconnect or remove barbs from one side and connect direct. I heat the hose with a hair dryer. Cut carefully with a razor blade to remove.

Re: Seat part question for 1990
If the connectors are like that, unless they have been replaced, your lumbar bladders are likely dust...you can test them by using a hand pump and lightly adding air to each of those lines to see if it is even worth it...or by new bladders that come out at the end of this month.

Re: Seat part question for 1990
When you order new bladders you get those parts. Not certain who makes the bladders as several companies sell them. Figure that out and they have them. You could also use the copper fittings for tubing that HomeDepot sells.
