Rick Kirk Prayer Request
Many of you know Rick and many of you probably don't know the name, simply because he wasn't included in the book, Heart of the Beast..... but he should have been. I am blessed to have Rick as my friend.
Rick is seriously ill and in need of our prayers & best wishes to recover. He is not able to have visitors or calls. I will keep you posted of his condition.

Re: Rick Kirk Prayer Request
Rick was the go-to guy who made last minute machining work for Mercury Marine during the buildup of the LT5. Lotus faxed design changes to Stillwater and Rick worked overnight to make those changes at his nearby machine shop. Stillwater may have used other local talent, but I am not aware of any.

Re: Rick Kirk Prayer Request
My prayers go out to Rick. Get well Rick!
I met Rick at the 2010 Gathering and the LT5 Reunion in 2011. What a great guy. Rick's work, as Glen mentioned, contributed to LT5 production (much done on any needed off line machine work). From what I remember, he also is/was a Nascar engine builder, hall of fame drag racer, collector, and much more than I could possibly remember or have time to write here. Most of all though, Rick Kirk is a car guy and genuine nice guy. Again, "Get well Rick"! |
