Default Windshield Dash seal $1,000?

hey guys,

I don't understand this $1,000.00 OEM windshield dash seal.

Pretty sure when this was available it was $50 or less from GM

This isn't weatherstrip... This is the bottom seal!?!?!??!?!?!?

Dave

Not sure why other than it being NLA. Prices for NOS parts that are NLA are always high. Thats the Joy of Corvette Tax, NCRS chaser's "me being one of them" has contributed to lots of parts that have skyrocketed.

Believe me if you think the ZR-1 is becoming expensive, you should build a mid-year Corvette......talk about wallet shock.

Be advised this 1984 part maybe already desiccated and the asking price must be a joke

There is a profit, then there is gouging then there is this...

Ive got one of these I tried selling for $20 a year ago.The one I have has the thin plastic channel that goes along the bottom of the windshield, might have to rethink selling it.

Looks like this stuff.
I'd use this before I pay $1000
