Default power key wont turn on

My low coolant light has been flickering on and off over the past 2 weeks and the last 2 times ive taken the z out, the power key light wont turn on. When it finally will turn on it stays on for a minute or 2 then turn off on its own. While on I do feel that i am getting the increased horsepower, and while off I do not have the increased power. Car seems to be driving fine from what I can tell (ie no new noises, not miss firing ect)

my coolant is not low, i have checked multiple times and I do not see a coolant leak
any ideas
are these problems somehow related?

any help would be much appreciated. I am stumped!

If the black tank is full, the coolant level sensor has failed. Replace the tank - it's probably not worth trying to fix. Full power is not ralated to the low coolant issue. Pull the codes from the ECM to see what else is wrong.

what year? the 1990 key cylinder can tend to have issues with the contact points. I had to disassemble mine and fix it to get the key to work properly again

It has to be Jeff Ive never heard of a Key/Module issue on the 91-95 cars. Jeff is completely correct normally this is a simple contact issue within the key cylinder. GC
