This was later in the day and the weather had turned cooler with the clouds having rolled in. So the track was cooling off. You can see that he got off the throttle within the first 600' and I think he still ran a 12 at 114mph.

keeping his car out of the wall.. I know the owner of that ZR1 and I was talking to a mutual friend about that Z on Tuesday and he was having a hell of a time keeping the tires planted.

That track (Byron) was unusually slick on that day of those runs..

Yeah that was the story on Saturday. On my first run I was in right lane and car headed for center track on 1-2 shift. When I hit diff fluid at 1000' mark on third run, I decided to park it.
