Default ZR-1 gathering in New Zealand

Hi all had a small get together in New Zealand I rang some ZR-1 owners in Dunedin and asked if they would be interested in meeting up at the Oamaru Drags had four yes one off the cars needed looking at as it wasn't running to well and had a maybe on a fifth car as well so I booked my Inter island ferry for my trip down south as I live in the Lower North island so on.
Friday morning I travel into the ferry and headed across to the South island
Once in the south island I headed down the east coast to a town called Kaikoura the road was blocked for months as there was a large earthquake my ZR-1 looked a little like my jeep after driving through the road works.
Kevin rings me while on my way down and asks where I am staying and offers to put me up so I stay with Kevin.
Kevin's red 93 ZR-1 has been in NZ for a long time and when it got here the owner of the car was asked to a lot of events and cleared up and was not asked back funny that it was also clocked at 300kms/h at Ohakea airfield.
Brett arrived early the next morning and Brett's ZR-1 is the 1st ZR-1 to arrive in NZ and is polo Green.
We headed of to Oamaru where we raced each other unfortunately Kevin had a clutch failure.
Travis arrived around lunchtime has will need injectors to get it going properly.
We all had a great day here are some photos of the trip this is probably the most ZR-1s together at once in NZ we are going to do some more get togethers in the future

Hi Jeff if the car is over 20 years old it doesn't have to be converted there are other rules also but ZR-1s fall into the over 20 year rule I don't think we have any right hand drive ZR-1s in NZ there are right hand drive C4s in the country
