Default Say hi to the Noob :)

Hi guys & gals, a few of you probably know me from the CF (81c3) is my username overthere...anyway, I just got my new to me Z today. I bought a 92 #091, with 45000 miles on it. I have only driven it 40 miles or so today, though not a DD,I plan to drive it as much as possible.

I've owned a few other Vettes including an 81,89,94vert & currently an 02Z06 along with my ZR1. I love red, so yea, I have a red Z06 & ZR1.

So far, I really like the ZR. I see a few small things that need attention, but for a 15 year old car, not too bad at all. She still rock-n-rolls down the road!

Thanks for the invite Z Factor!

Hullow to U!

One noobie to an other...I'm still breathless over my "new" 90 Z!!

I have a few things to tinker with, but new tires top the list right now. What a BEAST these Zs are!!!

Same here...Not a DD, but intend to drive it when I can. Unfortunately, WINTER is coming on Thursday. I'll be putting her in hibernation pretty soon, but hopefully there will be a few more sunny dry days before the ice and snow (and SALT(!)) is here for the duration.

Colorado, eh? Where 'bouts? I lived in CO long enough to adopt it as my "home state". I lived in Franktown for a bit, but most of my 3.5 years were spent in Bailey (about 45 mi SW of Denver, up at the 8500 foot level). I really noticed a drop in performance between IL (600 feet amsl) and Bailey (8500 feet amsl) when I drove my (then) '95 LT1. Can we say turbo charging???

Good to see ya!

Hi Paul, yea, I was drooling over your Z when you posted pics on CF.....I've been looking for a good year now & the "right" one finally came along.....although not the perfect time financially, I couldnt pass her up at the price I got her for.

Man, I'm up at 6:30am, the first thing I do is go to the garage to look at my Z.......I'm in love. 40 yrs old & feeling like a school boy

I know exactly where Franktown is, I used to work in Kiowa, when I was in tech school. I live in Canon City now & have been here 12 years. I know what you mean about altitude sickness for cars.......I"m at 5300', so not quite as bad as 8500'...but still robbing those precious ponies!

Thanks for the welcome to you & everyone else as well.

Hello and welcome! Nice looking Z. It must be great to drive in the mountains. Great pics. I like the "Curve Sign" with the safe speed of 60 mph. That's the speed limit here in the east!

Cool Re: Say hi to the Noob :)

Hello and welcome to the true home of the ZR-1.

As you probably know, the red ones are the fastest, so good choice in color.
